Sniping in the crypto world involves quickly buying a newly listed token on a decentralized exchange (DEX) like Uniswap or PancakeSwap. Here's how it generally works:
Objective: The goal of sniping is to purchase a token immediately after it becomes available to potentially benefit from price increases as more people learn about and buy the token.
Tools and Bots: Traders often use specialized bots to automate the sniping process, enabling split-second trades once the token listing goes live.
Risks: While sniping can be profitable, it involves significant risk, including smart contract vulnerabilities, highly volatile price movements, and potential liquidity issues.
Research: It's crucial to conduct thorough research and maintain awareness of scams or rug pulls associated with new token launches.
